We are planning to go on our first disney vacation this year and I was told it is best to just go through a disney vacation planner. Who do I contact for this?

Hi, Kyle, and welcome to planDisney! It's so exciting that you're planning your first visit to Walt Disney World. You're in for such a great time! Planning can be overwhelming, and I totally understand the need for help.

Here at planDisney, we are real Disney Guests, just like you. We have varied experience in different areas and specialties, and we work together to answer fellow Guests' planning questions based on our own personal experiences. We aren't travel agents or Cast Members. Instead, we are Disney Destinations super fans, and we want to make sure Guests like you have the best time.

Travel agents and vacation planners can be helpful, especially if it's your first visit. If I were looking for an agent, I'd first do an internet search for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, especially those that are part of the Disney Earmarked Program. These are agents who are specially trained for Disney Destinations and who have met specific criteria for the Earmarked designation. Many agents work with clients from all over the country, so they don't have to be local to you. Once you've selected an agent, you can expect them to help you select the best Disney Resorts Collection Hotel for you and your family, choose the Disney Theme Park tickets that best suit your plans and decide whether a Disney Dining Plan is right for you. They can also walk you through any special offers you may qualify for, and I must say there are some really enticing offers available right now for Cool KIDS' SUMMER, happening from May 26 to September 8 of this year. Then, they'll take care of booking the trip for you.

At any time, either before or after you've booked your trip, you're always welcome to come back and ask any vacation planning question you may have. While we can't book the trip, we can get in the planning weeds with you and help you sort through anything you aren't sure about or need help deciding on.

Kyle, I hope you get your trip booked soon, and please come back to planDisney with any question you may have.

    Have a magical trip!
