I am planning to go DW by the end of April (with my 3 kids - 4,4,1 years old and my parents)We will arrive around 2 pm at hotel. Which park should we go first for 1/2 day? I will also have more 5 days, how long should I stay in each park including a water?

When my kids were 5, 4, 2 we always would head to the Magic Kingdom first.  My kids loved Fantasyland so we made a bee line behind the castle to ride Dumbo or become dizzy in the tea cups.  You may even be able to see the afternoon parade if you time it right.  We found when our kids were that young it jump started the vacation.  We also would end the day with a character dinner.  This was a great way to start the autograph book and get pictures for the beginning of the trip.  We drove every year for the most part so we would go to the water park on the last day.  It was a gamble with weather at times but we figured let the water sun and all the energy they expelled would create a nice quiet sleepy ride home.  We just play the parks by ear...sometimes we might stay at a park for only two hours we just try to read our kids.  I found that in the middle of the day when the sun is the hottest we would escape to the resort and play by the pool or take a quick nap.  This helped us in the evening when we were at the parks.  I also would recommend going to the Animal Kingdom first thing in the morning.  I would also recommend taking a ride on the safari the animals will have just been fed and are for most part out.  The sun isn't quite as harsh early in the morning.
