A family trip to Disneyland is the best. I love staying on property because the magic starts the moment you arrive and keeps going until you say see ya real soon. Pixar Place Hotel is such a fun choice. I have stayed there a few times recently, and the atmosphere is bright, playful, and perfect for families traveling together.
Unfortunately, the rates that are listed are the current rates available. Even if your family modified their reservation to a different room, they would be charged the updated rates. I know this is a bummer, but room rates are determined by availability, how close you are to your arrival date, room type and view, and the number of Guests in the room. The good news is that there is still availability for your dates, so you can join your family. I took a look and there are a few room types open, but April is a popular time, so I would book as soon as possible to lock everything in.
The even better news is that you can easily link your reservation with the one your family already has. You can call
Guest Services and they can link the reservations on their end, and you can also request nearby or connecting rooms. It is never guaranteed, but it definitely does not hurt to make the request. You can also add both confirmation numbers in the
Disneyland Mobile App under the same Disney account login, but you will still want to call a helpful Cast Member to request specific room locations.
Do not forget to grab your
Park Reservations as soon as you purchase your tickets. You will want to secure your park days as soon as your plans are set.
