Hello, Jonathan!
Thanks so much for your question, I think it's awesome that you are working to make sure your wife has a great visit to the Disneyland Resort. You're a superhero spouse, and that must make me your planning sidekick! Let's get to work!
To make sure that you get the most current information possible you should contact the
Special Dietary Requests Team about two weeks before your visit. They will send you a form to fill out so that they can help you plan your meals and give advanced notice of your visit to the restaurants, if necessary.
You can also check out the menus for Disneyland Resort restaurants online before your visit. Many of them have sections for plant-based meals, and some (like
Hungry Bear Restaurant,
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, and
Pym Test Kitchen) include milk allergy-friendly items on their menu. It's always best to speak with a Cast Member when you arrive at a dining location to make sure they can accommodate you appropriately.
If you haven't yet, I would try to make dining reservations for at least one table service meal. They will likely have more options for helping manage your wife's allergy, and you can put a note in about her allergy when you make the reservation. But definitely reach out to the Special Dietary Requests Team, too! The more help you have, the better.
You are also welcome to bring your own snacks into the parks. We often bring plastic containers with grapes, carrots, granola bars, and other things that we like to munch on during the day. It keeps my kids (and my husband) from getting hungry while we're in line! Don't forget a refillable water bottle, too!
Jonathan, you are a heroic husband and I am honored to have helped you in this quest. I hope you and your wife have a great time in the parks!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
