I am planning to go to Disneyland on Day 1 and CA Adventure on Day 2. If I purchase Genie+ with my 2 day ticket for an extra $50, does it cover both days and can I use it for both days? Or do I need to purchase Genie+ twice to use it for both days?

Hi Harika! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

If you are purchasing the Disney Genie+ Service at the time of your admission ticket purchase, you'll be buying the service to be used on each day of your trip, both your first and second day. However, if you choose not to add Genie+ until you've arrived, you'll have the option to add it each day after you scan into the parks. I've done it both ways, and it's an easy service to add after scanning into the parks, using the Disneyland mobile app, but one benefit of purchasing the service with your admission ticket is your price is locked in, whereas the day of, the price is subject to variation.

Whatever you choose, I highly recommend the Genie+ option. We find it has great value for us as a family. We love spending less time in queues and focusing more on having fun with each other. One thing to be aware of, you don't have to wait two hours to book another Lightning Lane Entrance. Once you've scanned into a Lightning Lane Entrance, you can book your next attraction subject to availability, whether or not two hours have passed since your last booking. So, have your mobile device out, while you're in line waiting and get that next Lightning Lane Entrance booked!

Your visit comes at a very popular time of year, as Disneyland Resort is celebrating Halloween Time. I'd suggest you purchase your tickets and make your theme park reservations as soon as possible. Parks and dates do fill up, and we don't want you to be haunted by a missed opportunity. You'll find spooky decorations, entertainment, and treats throughout the parks. My must-do for the season is Haunted Mansion Holiday, a holiday overlay on the iconic attraction in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. Disney Eats has all the official foodie news for the season, which is a great place to start your planning. Find the sweet treats and spicy eats that you don't want to miss out on! I'm a Dole Whip girl, so the Blood Orange Agua Float available at The Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland at Disneyland Park is calling my name.

    Have a spooky good time!
