Hi Kathlyn! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Yes, your daughter will need an
admission ticket for entry to the theme parks, along with a
theme park reservation. Only children under the age of 3 can enter without an admission ticket. If you haven't yet purchased a ticket for her, I would do so as soon as possible, since days and parks can fill up and that would be a less-than-magical experience! It's a popular time to visit the parks with
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort underway, so you don't want to risk it. However, if you find that your preferred date or park is filled up, keep checking, as people's plans do change, especially closer to the date as people cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
Follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all the updates on what you can experience during your visit. There will be festive décor, merchandise, and entertainment around every corner!
Disney Eats has all the information on spooky good treats available to celebrate the season. Some of the treats available this year look almost too cute to eat! You might want to have your camera ready. You can put together your list of must-dos and must-eats before heading off to the magic.
If this is your daughter's first visit, be sure to pick up a complimentary
button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park, so everyone can know she's celebrating a special occasion! You never know what magic will happen, and it makes for a special keepsake souvenir.
Have a magical day.
