We are planning to go to Disneyland on 3/27 & 3/31 & C/A on 3/28 & 3/30. We were able to make reservations for 3 adults all 4 days, but not for 4 others on the 31st in either park. Is there a chance reservations will open for that day?

Well hello there, Gloria! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that you were only able to get reservations for March 31, 2023, for half of your party. It's usually pretty easy to be able to get reservations, but spring break is in full swing! There is a chance that reservations could open up. The Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar is fluid, so as Guests book or cancel their plans there could be openings. I suggest checking the calendar as often as you can in the days leading up to your visit. I have often had the best success grabbing a reservation for a day that was full on the night before, although I know that can be nerve-wracking, so I hope you have success getting reservations.

I do love to see that you have plenty of days planned to enjoy all the magic that Disneyland has to offer right now. There are so many great nighttime spectaculars and entertainment happening in both parks for the Disney100 Celebration. I was just in the parks this past weekend to see Mickey's Toontown and ride Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. I love the standby queue just as much as the attraction! Be sure to bring your appetite so you can try all the delicious bites at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival as well.

Gloria, I'm crossing my fingers and toes that reservations open up for the rest of your party for that last day. May the force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
