Hi Alexandra,
I can't imagine traveling with a 20 month old to WDW without a stroller. The parks are really big & there is a lot of walking involved. If we had not had a stroller when my boys were that age, we would have all ended up miserable.
I've always preferred bringing my own strollers because my boys always took a nap during the day & their own strollers were much more comfortable than the hard plastic ones for rent in the parks. Rented strollers must remain in the parks & I found a stroller super helpful at the end of a day in the parks. If you're flying, you may find your stroller very helpful in the airports. If you prefer not to bring your own, there are stroller rental locations in the Orlando area that will deliver & pick up strollers from your resort.
www.Orlandostrollerrentals.com is well known & reliable.
Strollers are not allowed in lines unless being used as a wheelchair. While enjoying show & attractions, strollers must be parked in designated parking areas located throughout the parks. Cast Members (CMs) rearrange strollers in the parking areas to allow for maximum use of the space so don't panic if its not in the same spot you left it in. Most of the areas are without real boundaries. If you leave your stroller in a non-designated area, chances are a CM will move it for you to a designated area while you're on an attraction.
Never leave any valuables in your stroller. CMs assigned to stroller parking are not responsible for any belongings left in strollers. Tie a bright ribbon on your stroller to help you spot it more quickly when you return to designated parking areas. Put some form of ID on your stroller. Bring a stroller fan, extra batteries & a rain cover. Don't leave open food in your stroller - squirrels & birds are very bold when searching for food. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
