I am planning to go to disney world in August. my mother lives in Florida and can get a Florida pass. Can I add her ticket to ours on the Disney app so that the rest of our trip can be planned together?

    Hi Sandra! Welcome to planDisney!

I love a good little family reunion and it sounds like you'll be having one this August! I'm sure you're all getting very excited as your trip inches closer.  Did you know that you're almost 60 days away from arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth?  If you didn't know, that's a BIG day around here! At the 60-day mark, you and your party are able to start booking your Advance Dining Reservations and many experiences from the Enchanting Extras Collection.  So set an alarm for 6 a.m. sharp and grab a reservation to dine with Mickey and friends!

You are certainly able to connect your plans with your mother's plans so that you can have all your Theme Park Reservations, dining reservations, and even Disney Genie+ Service Lightning Lanes all in one place.   Right through your My Disney Experience mobile app you'll be able to add your mother to your Family & Friends list, allowing you to share vacation plans.

To add your mother to your Family & Friends list on your My Disney Experience mobile app simply open your app and click the three horizontal lines at the bottom right.  Scroll down to "My Profile".  At the top, you'll see the words "My Profile" again and a tab that says "Family & Friends List".  Click on "Family & Friends List" to populate any family members you might have already added or to add a new guest.  Scroll down and you'll find an "Add a Guest" button.  Here, you'll be able to enter your mother's name and age (18+) and click "I'll manage plans for this Guest"

Once she's been added to your Family & Friends list just click on her name to either scan a linking code or to send her an email that will allow her to confirm that you'll be able to plan for her and manage plans you've made together.

If your mother does not have a My Disney Experience account you can still add her Theme Park Ticket to your My Disney Experience mobile app by entering the ID code from her Ticket or order confirmation.  Just open your mobile app, again click the three horizontal lines, and select "Tickets and Passes" and then "Link Tickets & Passes".

I hope you and your mother have an absolutely magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort! Come back and see us again at planDisney if you have any other planning questions before your trip!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
