We are planning to go to Disney in October and see that Toontown will still be closed. I see that they have relocated some of the toontown things, but what about the Goofy Roller Coaster? This is my child's favorite ride.

    Hi there Joanie!

I have some good news and bad news. The bad news first. Unfortunately, Goofy's Barnstormer will not be open in October due to the Fantasyland Expansion project.  The ride is getting a new look, and will be featuring Goofy as The Great Goofini. They just announced some new changes to the Expansion project this week that I think you will like it!

So here is the good news, there will now be two roller coasters in Fantasyland because they are going to be adding The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! I know your child will be disapointed this trip but, at least they are not removing his favorite ride just making it better! Hopefuly that will comfort him/her.

If your child is a little adventerous, you could try Big Thunder Mountain Railroad? My daughter loves that ride! I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
