We are planning to go to Disney next year and have only 2 dates that would fit in our schedule. We know both weeks are super busy but wanted to see if you prefer one week over. November 22-November 29 or December 17-December 24th. Thank you!

Both Thanksgiving and Christmas are indeed busy times at Disney World but the Christmas holidays tend to be busier. Although the first few days of your December dates would be manageable, the closer you get to Christmas Eve, the thicker the crowds. It is not unheard of for the parks to reach capacity. The same crowd swell happens the week of Thanksgiving with peak crowds on Thursday and Friday, but you'll find lower numbers by the weekend.

I recommend that you utilize FastPass+ for your vacation and make them for as early as you can in the day so that you can access more once you've used them. Pair this strategy with arriving at the parks at least 45 minutes before the parks open and you can manage the crowds.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
