Hi, We are planning to go Disney in May. We are trying to decide between the week before Memoridal Day (May 18th-May 24th), or Memorial Day Weekend (May 25th-May 31st). Do you know which week would have less crowds?

    Hi Danielle!

Based on my experiences over the past several years, the week before Memorial Day will be significantly less crowded than a week including the Memorial Day holiday.  Memorial Day has become very popular for people looking for a short getaway weekend at Walt Disney World!

The folks who write the "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" have a website at TouringPlans.com.  On their website, you can see a calendar with expected crowd levels for the parks.  Their predictions are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  As an engineer, I'm a big fan of their work.  I recommend checking out their site if you get a chance!

Have a magical vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
