We are planning to go to disney in March 2009. I was wondering what the weather would be like so that I can pack the right clothes for my 3 year old.

    Hi there Steven,

The normal high temperatures in March are typically around 79F (but record highs have been recorded at 92F) and normal lows are around 57F (but record lows have been recorded at 25F).  The weather in March for Orlando is definitely warmer than February, with the typical high breaking the 80F mark by the end of March. The chances of seeing a really cool day also drop significantly by the end of the month. The chances of rain are still lower, the rainy season hasn't started yet.  My suggestion would be to prepare yourself and pack as though it should be warmer rather than cooler, but pack a few long sleeves and longer pants (maybe even a windbreaker) just in case you will experience some of those record low temperatures.  I would also suggest to bring your sunscreen lotions along as that Florida sun always seems to burn no matter how cool it may be.  If you have normal highs and lows during your trip you will have a very pleasant time as far as the weather goes and I too will be there in March so I hope we see that nice weather I am so accustomed to and love so much in March.  Have a magical journey!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
