We are planning to go to Disney in the fall.  Would late September or October be better?

Hi, late September or October are both great times to go.  The "Mickey's Not -So -Scary Halloween Party" begins mid September through October.  The crowds are lower, and for the most part its warm, although you will encounter daily rain showers, but you can purchase ponchos at a very reasonable price.  It's also the Value season, so the hotel rates are lower than in the heat of the summer.  The water parks aren't overly crowded so you can get on pretty much any slide with a minimal line, I think the longest we ever waited was 5 minutes, and we needed the rest after climbing the stairs at Blizzard Beach to the family slide, because my boys were too little for the ski lift.  The weather is very warm during the day for the most part, unless it is a total rainy day, then it gets chilly.  The nights are comfortable a light jacket or a long sleeve shirt.  Have a great trip!!  Heather M.
