Ahoy, Gigi!
Thanks so much for coming back with more excellent questions as you plan for your high-seas adventure! Your five-night cruise sailing out of Miami will be an unforgettable experience! Preparing for a Disney Cruise is so much fun, but it can also feel overwhelming. I'm happy to help give you ideas of how to prepare for your magical voyage to paradise!
If you haven't checked out the
Packing List for Disney Cruises, I recommend taking a peek at this helpful list. This will give you a breakdown of all the items Disney Cruise Line recommends packing for each type of itinerary. I definitely suggest bringing a light jacket for walking around on deck as well as a sweater to bring with you to dinner each evening. I also recommend bringing a pair of long pants or jeans because it gets a little chilly if you plan to be out on deck during the evening. Sandals, slippers and a pair of tennis shoes will be great! If you're planning on booking a dinner in an
adult-only restaurant, take a look at the dress code for dining there prior to your cruise so you're sure to have everything you'll need.
Since you'll be traveling quite a distance to your Disney Cruise, I suggest flying in to Miami at least one day prior to your sail date. This will allow you a cushion if for some unexpected reason your flight is delayed reaching Miami. Captain Mickey runs a punctual ship and you wouldn't want to miss your cruise!
I'm wishing you a pixie-dusted adventure of a lifetime!
