There’s nothing better than
celebrating a birthday at the Disneyland Resort, and ringing in the big 5-0 there makes it even more magical! I threw my husband a fun 50th birthday party last year, but he isn’t quite as much of a Disney fan as I am, so I had to keep the Disney touches to a minimum. He already knows that when my milestone birthday rolls around in a few years, it’s Disney from top to bottom!

Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party! I attended last year and had one of my favorite Disney visits ever. Treat Trails, Disney Villains, candy galore, and plenty of frightfully fun surprises around every corner made it an unforgettable night. Have you picked out your costumes yet? I’m heading back this year and am currently trying to narrow down my list of too many costume ideas!
With your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, Erin, you can enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 PM on the day of the event. If you'd like to visit Disneyland Park or enter California Adventure earlier in the day, you would need to purchase a separate theme park ticket.
That said, the party lasts well into the night hours, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the attractions we wanted to experience and complete all the Treat Trails. We never felt like we needed extra park time beforehand. Of course, if you want to make your birthday celebration last from sunrise to moonrise, you absolutely can! And whatever you do, don’t miss Villains Grove. It was one of my favorite parts of the evening. Put it on your birthday wish list and visit after dark for the full experience!
