    Planning to go to Disney in Aug for 5yr anniversary want it to be special not sure which moderate is best. Looking for help with your likes/dislikes of each and favorite sections to stay at in the resort. Thanks Kimberly for all your help!

    Port Orleans French Quarter - for many years this was our favorite moderate resort. It's quaint ambiance offers romantic walks. The resort is compact, has a nice pool as well as a food court with beignets. The walk to Riverside is enjoyable and the riverboat transportation to Downtown Disney is relaxing.
    Like- quaintness
    Dislike - food court décor
    Favorite section - Building 6 or 7

    Port Orleans Riverside has a southern flair and the resort is quite large. Rooms are fashioned in either a plantation or down-home Bayou style.
    Like - charming, slow paced atmosphere
    Dislike - long walks from furthest rooms
    Favorite section - Oak Manor

    Caribbean Beach Resort - is a tropical oasis. I love the walk from the Jamaica buildings to the pool and food court.This resort is vast but offers the largest rooms in the moderate category.  It has a newly renovated pool area although it lacks shade which may be a concern in August. Our family stayed in one of the new pirate rooms which are unique accommodations with beds designed as mini-ships. CBR offers beaches too.

    Dislike-long walks from furthest buildings and distance to Customs House
    Favorite section - Jamaica

    Coronado Springs Resort - has a Southwest theme with a marina, large pool and 15-acre lake. The resort is expansive and requires lots of walking. This resort has a convention center, but offers limited room service, a health club and beauty salon.
    Like- the market-style food court, Dig Site pool area
    Dislike- convention atmosphere and long walks from furthest areas of resort
    Favorite section - Casitas
