We are planning to go to the CAndlelight processional Dec 15 16 or 17 by what date do I have to purchase our Fl resident seasonal pass that can be paid for monthly? And do I purchase them at the park?

    Hi John,

You're going to love being a seasonal passholder at Walt Disney World! It's one of the great perks of being a Florida resident. And the monthly payment plan for Florida residents makes it even easier.

You can purchase your seasonal passes online and sign up for the payment plan whenever you want. Your passes will expire a year from the date you first use them at a park, regardless of when you purchase them.  You might want to buy in advance (60 days ahead if you are staying in a Disney resort or 30 days ahead if you aren't) so that you can take advantage of FastPass+.

When you buy online, you will get an electronic voucher that you can use to link your passes to your My Disney Experience account. You will need to take the voucher and your proof of Florida residence to a ticket window or Guest Relations site to get your passes activated.

If you'd rather wait until you arrive at Walt Disney World, you can do that. I always renew my passes online in advance to speed the process at the ticket window. If you have the electronic vouchers and your ID in hand, the activation takes just a few minutes.

We have been seasonal passholders since the mid 1990s, and we've taken advantage of the monthly payment plan since it started. We love the convenience and flexibility of the passes and of paying over then entire year. The merchandise, resort and dining discounts are pretty sweet, too.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can help in any other way. Enjoy your Disney year!
