We are planning to go to the Candlelight Processional. We have attended shows at this location and we just simply walked up and watched a show. Can we do this for this event or do we need to be in line ahead of time? Thanks

    Hi Barbara!

Unfortunately, the answer is "no".  The Candlelight Processional is fabulous and thus it is very popular.  You will easily have to stand in line for a couple of hours before the show, especially during the busier times of the month.  Worse, on the very busy nights, there's a chance you won't get in to the first show you stand in line for even if you wait a couple of hours.  It's happen to me before.  You get in line early for the first showing, but you don't get in, and the line becomes the line for the second showing.

However, all is not bad!  You can purchase a Candlelight Processional Dining Package which will allow you to eat at an Epcot restaurant and then have guaranteed seats at the show.  This is definitely the way to go if you can afford it and you have your schedule nailed down.

The alternative is not to have a seat at all and just hang out at the back of the theater in the American Adventure area.  You won't have a good view of the show, and may in fact, not be able to see much of anything, but you will be able to hear everything.  Hearing the show is probably the most important part.  I've done that many times myself and I've always enjoyed it.
