I am planning to go to California to visit Disneyland and my question is how current does a negative test for covid need to be? So looking forward to taking my grandson.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Martha!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are honored to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! We are so grateful to be a part of your PLANNING TEAM!

What a great question! I can tell you that Mickey Mouse and his pals have been working really hard on making sure every Guest is as safe as possible when they visit the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH. I can assure you that this is their primary goal! As you plan, I want to let you know that all Guests are highly encouraged to be fully vaccinated and have a negative COVID-19 test before entering any of the Disneyland Theme Parks; however, they are not required at this time. Face coverings will be required in all indoor buildings and attractions, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional while outdoors all throughout the Disneyland Resort.

I hope this information helps you in your planning! Exciting announcements are being made all of the time at the Disneyland Resort! That is why I highly recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and be sure to subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
