Hello, I am planning to go with a baby of 1year and my older daughter of 2years. What activities can we do or what is aviable for mi kid of 2 years. Thank you

Hi there, Erica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m thrilled to help you start planning your adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth!

As the mom of three Mouseketeers ages 3, 5, and 7, I can definitely relate to your plight. And, I’m happy to report that there are still plenty of attractions, shows, and parades to keep you and your crew entertained! To view which attractions you can ride with your little ones, head to the Attractions page, and filter by Height. Select “Any Height” and you’ll see which attractions are suitable at any age. Currently, 64 attractions show up on this list! Some of my children’s favorite attractions as babies were “it’s a small world,” Casey Jr. Circus Train, Disneyland Railroad, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, Jessie’s Critter Carousel, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure.

But perhaps their favorite activity in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park was meeting Characters, and watching delightful shows! You can meet Mickey Mouse and friends throughout the day in both Town Square (Disneyland Park) and on Buena Vista Street (Disney California Adventure Park). Some of our favorite shows for little ones include Disney Junior Dance Party!, Mickey and the Magical Map, and Storytelling at Royal Theatre. I’m also crossing my fingers the recently-announced “Magic Happens” parade will arrive in time for your trip! Currently, it’s set to arrive in Disneyland Park by spring 2020, but we don’t have an exact date just yet.

You’re also going to want to get familiar with the Baby Care Centers, located in each theme park. These Centers are the perfect spot to feed, nurse, or change your babies. You can also purchase any baby necessities from the handy vending machines! From formula to diapers to sunscreen, the Baby Care Centers have you covered! You’ll find the Disneyland Park location at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and the Disney California Adventure Park location on Pacific Wharf.

Lastly, if you find your babies needing a dark, cool spot to take a nap, I recommend visiting The Disney Animation Building in Hollywood Land. Sit back and relax on the plush couches in the main lobby, where you’ll be entertained by still images and video clips from favorite Disney movies in an air-conditioned room. To this day, my children love visiting this building for a nice break and great entertainment!

Please stop back with any additional questions you have as you continue planning… I’m all EARs!
