we are planning to take our girls to WDW next April and have decided to stay onsite!!! which is better for toddlers, the poly or the contemporary?? is it worth it to upgrade to a suite [we are trying to watch money} or is one room okay??

Hi Kristi!  Both resorts are wonderful and you would find them comfortable but if I had to choose one for a youngster I would most likely select the Polynesian!  The pool is fun and themed to delight any toddler!  I don't think you need to worry about a suite as the rooms are sufficient in size for two adults and one toddler.  If you need bed rails make sure you have this request attached to your reservation.  Most families find that the time they spend in their rooms is not enough to worry about getting large suites for their stays at Walt Disney World!  You are out and about in the parks enjoying your time more then in your rooms!
