Planning a girls trip with my daughter for August aboard Disneys Wonder. I understand that dining reservations are made for each night but what if we want to do casual dining instead. Is it ok to cancel the formal dining option and do something else.

    Hi Gina!

Oh, I'm so excited about your cruise! Really, just thinking about a Disney Cruise makes me giddy! I have been on 4 Disney Cruises and only once not done the formal dining! I'm not saying you can't...I'm just saying you won't want to! :)

Each restaurant is so themed and so beautiful you are going to WANT to be in there! Plus, your waiters travel with you to each restaurant, so by the end of your cruise they will feel like family! And the food--oh yum!!

If for some reason you don't want to do the formal dining (your kids are too tired, you're sunburned, etc.) then just head up to the Beach Blanket Buffet on Deck 9. Or you can even hit up the quick service by the pools--hotdogs, pizza, etc. There is no need to "cancel" your formal dinner reservation or even let anyone know what you're doing. Your cruise is all about YOU! Do what you want!

And just as a word of encouragement (and a please please please please please) if you do skip a formal dining meal make sure it is NOT Animator's Palate. It is one of the most magical dining experiences ever!

    Have a magical cruise!
