I am planning a girls trip in April 2026. My friend and myself. What events will be going on, aside from Flower and Garden, in April 2026? We would like to avoid cheer things and runs. Thanks.

Hi there, Lauren, and welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for making us your go-to source for Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning advice! As you know, my Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests!

Lauren, you'll be happy to know that April is one of my favorite times of year to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. The weather is typically mild, though still warm enough to spend some time at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel's pool. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival should be going on, and each year it features new and different offerings like food and beverage items and nightly concerts. You can check the runDisney calendar for specific details - it looks like Springtime Surprise will be April 16-20, 2026. After a big year of changes throughout the Disney Theme Parks, we are expecting many of our favorite attractions to be back open in 2026, so there's a lot to get fired up about!

Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and official Walt Disney World Resort social media channels for details about what you can expect in 2026. This way, you'll get the news as soon as it's released! At this time, bookings are not yet available for 2026, but it sounds like you'll be ready to make your reservation as soon as the dates are open!

Lauren, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan your vacation! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See ya real soon!
