I am planning on getting pins for trading before we come (for my 6yr old). Should I worry about getting pins I think he will really like or not worry about it since he will be trading them anyway?

Hello, Colleen!  My 7 year old absolutely loves pin trading and I love watching how much fun she has while doing it.

When she first decided she wanted to try trading, I purchased pins for her that I thought she wouldn't really care about so she wouldn't be hesitant to trade for ones she did like.  That trip, she had so much fun deciding what pins she wanted to trade for.  Of course, during vacation we also picked up several in the shops that she loved and wanted to keep for her permanent collection which she also proudly displayed on her lanyard.

If you are interested, here is a little more information about pin trading at Walt Disney World.  I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
