We're planning on getting the dining plan for our trip the week between Christmas and New Years and we have many table service meals on the itinerary. Is there a way to substitute say 2 quick-service meals for 1 table-service meal? Thanks a bunch!

    Hi Jennifer,

While there may be instances where some guests have successfully substituted 2 quick-service meals for 1 table-service meal, this is not the norm.  The general rule for substituting meal credits is that you can substitute down, but not up.  In other words, you can use your table-service credits for a quick-service meal.

Having said that, cast members are human beings, and there is the possibility that guests have had a cast member allow them to use 2 quick service credits for 1 table service meal.  However, I wouldn't count on it when making your dining plans.  If you have more dining reservations than your meal plan allows for, you can always pay out of pocket to cover the expense.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
