    Planning is so much fun! Staying at POR and have to be the Whispering Canyon at 750pm. How do we go about getting there and when should we leave by? Thanks :)

    I'm so glad to hear that you're having such fun planning! In my opinion, planning a Walt Disney World vacation is almost as much fun as the vacation itself!

    The best way to get from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside over to your Whispering Canyon Café reservation is going to be to take a bus over to Magic Kingdom Park first. From there, you'll take a boat directly over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It's a short and pretty walk from the boat dock into the Resort itself. It's important to remember that the Disney buses and most of the other Complimentary Resort Transportation does not travel directly from one Resort hotel to another.

    I always recommend allowing up to 90-minutes to travel to your destination because you may need to wait for a bus or a boat. We always like to arrive a little early so that we can sit in the huge wooden rocking chairs in front of the fireplace in the Resort lobby. It's absolutely gorgeous!
