Hey there, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! Kicking off the new year with a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like music to my ears! You've made a great choice to look into staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, where you will get some great benefits like
Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation all around the resort areas to make your vacation package even more magical! Talk about hitting all the right chords!
When booking a Disney Resort hotel reservation, it's important to keep in mind that inventory is always changing and may be limited to availability by certain special offers as well. In doing a quick search with the online booking tool, I was able to find availability for a standard room-only reservation at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort starting on your check-in date, but many factors could contribute to the lack of availability you are seeing, including special offers, length of stay, or travel party size.
My best advice if you truly have your heart set on this resort would be to either call a Cast Member at
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to inquire about booking over the phone, or book a preferred room to lock in your vacation dates. Once you have a reservation, you can continue to search online for a standard room by selecting"Change Reservation" under "My Plans" on your
My Disney Experience account. If one does become available, you can easily modify your reservation online to reserve the standard room.
Another option would be to explore one of the neighboring All-Star Resorts for availability; my favorite is actually
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, but having stayed at all three of them, I find that each of them is fun and true to its theming while offering comparable amenities to its neighboring properties.
I hope this is helpful, Jessica, and I hope you are able to secure your reservation in a way that makes your heart sing! If you have any other vacation planning questions, don't hesitate to come back and
ask me again! You've got a friend in me!
Magic and Memories,
Alison
