We are planning a full day at Epcot, hoping for World Showcase and Future World. I made fast passes for early afternoon but the more I look, and see possible character greets in Showcase, would it be better to start in Showcase and then back up to Future?

    Hey, Laura!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love helping fellow Georgians have a spectacular time at my second home at Walt Disney World Resort.

We arrive about 30-45 minutes before Epcot opens to be ready for a tour of both the East and West sides of Future World. Since the World Showcase opens 2 hours after Future World, this is a great time to experience the attractions "of tomorrow." From Test Track and The Sum of All Thrills to Spaceship Earth and Journey into Imagination with Figment, there is plenty to do and come back to later.

My family prefers to spend the afternoon watching live entertainment and meeting characters in the World Showcase. Mulan, Mary Poppins, Alice (in Wonderland aka the United Kingdom), Alladin, Jasmine and Snow White are regular around the world. We have met Peter Pan and Captain Hook too so you never know who may "Pop-ins" for a visit. You'll flip over the juggling skills of the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats of China and Sergio in the Italy Pavilion. There is so much to see, do and eat!

Disney Dad Tip: Check the Times Guide when you arrive or the Epcot online entertainment page for exact times to meet characters and see a show. We use the online information as a general reference then check the actual times when we arrive.

Laura, I hope this information helps you enjoy many Magical Memories.
