We are planning my four year old son's first trip to Disney World in late September. How soon in advance can we purchase tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? We do NOT want to miss it! Thanks so much! Amanda in Louisiana

    Hi Amanda!

I'm Jackie in Louisiana!  As I am typing, I am being treated to some of our lovely muggy, foggy, misty weather outside - just perfect...  I'm not sure if you have heard yet or not, but FREE dining has just been announced for your vacation dates.  If you book your vacation by May 18th and are arriving between August 25, 2012 and September 29, 2012, your vacation package may qualify for free dining.  If you have already booked, don't worry - simply call 1-407-WDISNEY and ask if your reservation qualifies.  Awesome!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is my favorite holiday event at Walt Disney World!  The parade is absolutely amazing and I swear, it gets better each time I see it.  Tickets typically go on sale around May 1st, so I would start checking the Disney website around that time.  Did you know that the Halloween party is the ONLY time that adults can wear costumes in the Magic Kingdom?  So what are you waiting for, start planning your costumes now!

I hope that you and your little prince have an amazing vacation to Walt Disney World!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
