    I am planning for my first Wine & Dine race weekend! It will also be my first runDisney night race. I think I am good through the finish line...then what? What should I do to make the most of the after party at Epcot?

    Hi Erin!

    Well, the Wine and Dine Half Marathon is my favorite runDisney race, so I hope you love it as much as I do!  I love running at night, and I love that the course takes me through three of the Disney Parks,  And, of course, the post-race party is a blast, too!

    For the party logistics, I like to come prepared!  You will receive a bag you can check in before the race that will be waiting for you at the finish.  In my bag, I bring a jacket, and possibly a change of clothes if it looks like I will either be sweating a lot, or getting rained on.  I bring some sort of method of payment for the party, some body spray (for obvious reasons), and my camera.  Then, I make sure I have clear plans with anyone I am meeting up with after the race so that we can find each other easily. 

    One thing you may think about is what you want to get out of the party, and how you feel normally after running 13.1 miles.  This year, I have a group of friends coming and we really want to enjoy ourselves at the party, so we are thinking of not pushing ourselves as much during the run so we can take advantage of the rides, food, and drinks the party will offer.  Sometimes, after giving a half marathon my full effort, all I want to do is crawl into bed!
