We're planning our first WDW vacation. We have the meal plan & there are 3 groups of us going. If we all sit together will they automatically charge us the 18% for tips? There's 11 of us total but only 4 in my group, 4 in another, & 3 in the other

    Hi Laura,

I am so excited that you are about to experience your very first Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I know you will have an absolutely wonderful time, and I hope it is the first of many trips to come for your family.

If you will be dining at the Table-Service restaurants with a party of 11, gratuity will automatically be added to your bill. Even though your party may be paying separately, the gratuity is automatically added for parties of six or more. So even if you were only dining with one of the other parties, you would still be charged the 18% for gratuity.

I hope this helps you to prepare for dining at the Walt Disney World resort. I know your vacation is going to be full of magic and pixie-dust!
