I am planning our first WDW vacation for my family of 6! Hubby, daughters 8, 7, 7, son 2 (3 in Oct) and myself. I have know idea where to start including the days! Thinking Thanksgiving week, mid-Oct or mid-Aug...any ideas? Will be staying elsewhere.

    Hi Nancy,

How exciting that you are going to Disney World for the first time!  Your kids are at perfect ages for a great trip.  If you can, I would strongly recommend going during October.  The weather is usually perfect and the crowds are very low.  If you can't make it during October, the next best time would be August.  Thanksgiving week tends to be the most crowded week at WDW.

Have a wonderful trip.  If you have any questions just come here to the moms panel.

Meet the Panelist: Michelle, New Jersey

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
