    Planning a first WDW trip with my to be 5 yr old son. Thinking of end of August or mid October 2010. Which is best for heat and crowds?

    Hi Carolyn!  October has become a very popular month to visit the Walt Disney World parks.  EPCOT has a Food and Wine Festival during that month and there are also several large convention groups that come back year after year.  I have noticed that this month has become more crowded.

    Having said that August is indeed a very hot and rainy month in comparison.  It can have less crowds but I have never enjoyed the heat and rain so October is still my choice!
