I am planning my first WDW trip with a 2 year old in October, when should I start booking our reservations and how do I find out about special offers with resorts and dining?

    Hi Heather,

I say there's no time like the present to start planning a first Walt Disney World vacation!  How exciting that yours is in the works!  If you you know your travel dates, I would suggest you start checking the special offers page on the Disney website often, by clicking HERE.  Even if an offer isn't currently available, you can go ahead and book a trip, and if a discount that applies to your travel dates becomes available, you can call and have it applied to your vacation.  Regarding dining, you can make reservations up to 180 days before your arrival date.  Given the popularity of many dining venues, especially character dining locations, I recommend making reservations as soon as you know your travel dates.  Click on the link above to view menus and/or make reservations!

Feel free to write back often with more planning questions!  Have fun planning your magical trip!
