Hi, I am planning our first wdw trip and am wondering if I can request a specefic room location at our resort (caribbean beach)? I've read that b/c of the size of the resort some locations are better than others? We have 3 littles so what section is be

    Hi Erin!

First trip! Prepare for a lifetime of memories! Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a lovely choice with beautiful landscaping and relaxing views. The resort is divided in sections called villages.  You are able to request a specific location, however within your rate category. Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach are priced as followed: Standard View, Preferred View, Water or Pool View or the Pirate themed Rooms. The rooms closer to the main area or Old Port Royale are the preferred view rooms located in the Martinique Village. Therefore if you want a specific location, you will need to ensure that you are booking within the respective category. Since you are traveling with little ones, keep in mind that the buildings are two-story buildings with no elevators so you may want to request a room on the ground level. When I visited with my 3 little ones, we chose a Pirates Room, which was located in Trinidad South (the furthest building). I must admit that I relied on my personal vehicle to get us around since the resort is very large and I didn't want to have to board the bus with the kids. I highly recommend that you do an internet search for the resort map so that you can better familiarize yourself with the layout at this resort and this may help you decide the best location.

It has been a pleasure assisting you Erin!
