Greetings, Ashley, we're thrilled to hear that you're planning a first visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Disney's Contemporary Resort will dazzle your family. It's on the Monorail line and a short walk to Disney's Magic Kingdom park and my suggestion would be to definitely schedule a down day to enjoy this magnificent resort hotel. There is so much to see and do at this resort, from swimming in one of 2 pools, enjoying the waterslide or basking in the whirlpool spas, to watching the Monorail glide through the main lobby and marveling at the mosaic mural artistry depicting the popular attraction "it's a small world" by renowned artist and Disney Legend Mary Blair. End your relaxing day with a unique dinner at
California Grill which offers spectacular views of Cinderella Castle and the magnificent fireworks. Just before the fireworks begin, the lights in the restaurant dim and music from the fireworks show is piped in to afford Guests an immersive experience. How great is that!
Disney Character Dining is the best and you'll have access to
Chef Mickey's situated right in your resort hotel. May I suggest enjoying one Character Dining experience per day, as the food is so bountiful that you may not have room for a second Table-Service meal. Ashley, you, of course, would know what is best for your family.
Tip:
Consider one of Disney's
Magic Your Way Vacation Packages which offer inclusive experiences making your vacation the best ever.
Ashley, thank you for consulting us, we look forward to assisting you soon.
Best Disney Wishes~
