Planning first visit to WDW 12/08 w/an almost 4 yr old & 20 month old-both girls. Trying to determine realistically how long we should allocate each day to a park. We are thinking a 5 day pass? Is that too much knowing we'll be back resting each PM?

Hi!! How exciting!!  Christmas time in Disney World is absolutely fabulous!!!  The decorations are breathtaking.  We took the monorail and stopped at each of the resorts just to see the decorations.  It was a great cool break in the middle of the day for the kids.  I would recommend gauging your length of time on your kids level of energy.  We all see when the short tempered, exhausted cues start and that would be about when I would head back to the resort.  I would recommend two days in Magic Kingdom.  There's also Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which has been a highlight for our children.  It is a separate ticket event.  We had a fabulous time.  We would nap and rest the afternoon so my little ones would enjoy the evening.  Our kids favorite part is riding the attractions, watching the sparkling parades.  The evening was cooler than the heat of the afternoon.  5 day pass will probably get you through, a day more may give you a safety net.  I hope you have a fabulous visit!!!
