We are planning our first visit twin 7 year old boys. My question is can we purchase a meal plan if we are not staying at a resort. I have family that live close by so we will be staying with them .

    Hi Jamie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so happy to help you plan your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Disney dining plans are a great way to pay for many of your vacation expenses in advance of your trip. Unfortunately, only Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can add a dining plan to their reservation. So you will have to pay for each meal during your trip as you go. Our family has vacationed at Walt Disney World Resort both with and without using a dining plan and we have had magical trips either way.

Be sure to pick up complimentary First Visit buttons from Guest Relations at the front of any of the theme parks so you Cast Members and Guests can make sure you have an incredible time! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue your planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
