    We are planning our first visit with three hearing family members and one child who is deaf. Will we be able to sit together at sign-interpreted shows/events? Do we need a tag or identification? Do we queue up separately? Logistics, please! Thanks!

    Welcome to the Moms Panel. I am so pleased you stopped by with your question regarding your upcoming vacation to visit Mickey Mouse and his Pals in Walt Disney World!

    Services are offered for Hearing Impaired Guests. Please read through THIS INFORMATION which will outline what is available. Services range from hand held captioning to video captioning and more. Amenities for your hotel room are also available. For specific information, call (407)824-4321/ TTY (407)827-5141.

    Sign language interpretation is available on a scheduled basis at specific parks/live shows, with schedules posted about 1 week in advance. You can email WDPRsignlanguageservices@disney.com for more information.

    As with all services, by being specific about your needs and planning in advance, the more helpful the cast members can be. Make a list of all your questions and concerns, and have the list handy when contacting Walt Disney World. This way, you will not forget any important questions or concerns that you might have.

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
