We are planning our first visit with kids, and wonder what are hidden Mickey's? We were thinking about coming the week after Christmas, will there still be Christmas decorations?

Yes, the decorations will be apart of the landscape when you arrive after Christmas.  Be sure to stop in and visit the Grand Floridian, there's an amazing life sized Gingerbread house. It's a beautiful time of year to visit Walt Disney World.

Hidden Mickey's - A Hidden Mickey is an image of Mickey Mouse concealed in the Design of a Disney Attraction, pin, or within the artwork at a Resort.  There is a Hidden Mickey within the imagery of Space Mountain, there are Hidden Mickey's in pins.  Our family has a spiral notebook, that was started when I was young and has continued with my family.  We have found Hidden Mickey's that are no more, and some that are new.  We try to see how many we can find on each trip, the winner of the newest found Mickey's gets a souvenir of their choice.  It gets pretty competitive.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!  Heather M.
