    We are planning our first visit to AK in May wiht our 4 yr old. What are some suggestions of things we must do/see? We are planning Donalds Dining safari lunch so far. Also, I have its best to be there early in the morning because the animal are roaming?

    Hi Krista!
    I would suggest riding Kilimanjaro Safaris first thing in the morning, the animals will more likely be out first thing in the morning when the weather is cooler and tend to look for a more shady spot in the afternoon.For little ones visiting Animal Kingdom here are my must do shows and attractions:
    • Boneyard- a great play area where children can dig for fossils
    • Rafiki's Planet Watch-  Take the train to see where different animals are cared for and there is even a petting zoo area.
    • Finding Nemo the Musical-  This show is amazing and not to be missed.  The puppets are spectacular and you will really feel as if you are hanging out on the Great Barrier Reef.
    • Camp Minnie and MIckey- a great place to meet various characters and they look so cute in their safari outfits
    • Tricera Top Spin- think Dumbo the Flying Elephant except with Dinosaurs
    • Festival of the Lion King- another wonderful show that children and adults most certainly love
    • It's Tough to be a Bug- this is my favorite 3D show out of all the parks, but it can be scary for smaller children.  I suggest sitting at the end of the row closest to the exits in case you need to make a fast getaway.
    • Kids Discovery Clubs- Each area of Animal Kingdom will have fun educational activity for children, when each activity is completed they will earn a stamp in their passport.  Complete all 6 areas for a special treat!
