We are planning our first vacation for our 7 & 8 year old this fall. We won't be staying on the Disney property. Would we still be able to take advantage of the disney meal plan?

    Hi!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) is only available to guests who purchase a WDW package that consists of staying at a WDW resort and purchasing at least a one day Magic Your Way ticket for each person in the traveling party.

There are a couple of exceptions: Annual passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members have less restrictions. For example, an Annual passholder may book a "package" with the Disney Dining Plan add-on but is excluded from having to buy an admission ticket.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. We love to help plan vacations to WDW!
