We are planning our first vacation as a family with our daughter who will turn 3 in Disney on 2/25/11 We would like to make this trip special for her. What are your suggestions to giving her a really special day?

    HI Heather!

Celebrating a birthday at Disney is very special.  I would suggest starting your birthday celebrations with a character breakfast.  Chef Mickey's is a great choice.  The atmosphere is lively and they offer a great breakfast.  The characters that you will meet at this restaurant include Mickey, MInnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.  Some other character meals I think your daughter would enjoy are Cinderella's Royal Table and Crystal Palace.  Bring a birthday card for the characters to sign it makes for a great souvenir.

When you arrive at the parks be sure to stop by guest services to pick up a free "Happy Birthday" button. Your daughter will be stopped by countless cast members throughout the day who will wish her a Happy Birthday!

You can bring birthday decorations to decorate your room while she is sleeping or you can let the dream makers at the Disney Florist do it for you.  I have linked you with their website to see the packages they offer.  Click here to visit their site.

    Have a magical vacation!
