We are planning our first vacation ever to WD. I am trying to make reservations and look up events. We purchased the 5 day park hopper pass but will be in Disney 7 days. Is the Boardwalk considered a park? or can we walk around and not use a park hopper?

    Hey, Rachel!

Welcome to the DisneyParks Moms Panel. Wahoo! Your first magical experience awaits and I am so excited for you. You will be amazed how your childhood fantasies come to life just by walking into Magic Kingdom Park.

Disney's BoardWalk Area is not a theme park and anyone may enjoy the sights, sounds and taste of this nod to the famous Atlantic City boardwalk.

Disney’s BoardWalk Area with street performs, excellent restaurants, recreation, and fantastic evening entertainment is a prime spot. Check out the dueling pianists at Jellyrolls. We love this area for the simple strolls over to Epcot through the International Gateway entrance and to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

There are no FastPass+ attractions in this area just fun, fun, fun so no need to "park hop" here.

Disney Dad Tip: If you have the time, indulge in the Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar Cake at the BoardWalk Bakery. Amazing!

Have a great time during your very first special trip to Walt Disney World Resort.

Rachel, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
