We are planning our first vacation to Disney and plan on staying at the Polynesian Resort. Any feedback regarding this particular resort. It looks amazing online.

    Hi Melissa,

As amazing as Disney's Polynesian Resort looks online, it's even better in person!  I stayed there in January and was enchanted by this magical place.  It truly is a lush tropical paradise in the heart of Walt Disney World.

You'll be charmed by the abundant amenities at this deluxe Disney resort.  The Nanea Volcano Pool is majestic and fun!  The dining options are abundant here too.  Be sure to try the Tonga Toast for breakfast one morning at Kona Cafe and don't miss the opportunity to taste the pineapple soft serve ice cream in Captain Cook's.  That's one of my favorite treats in all of Walt Disney World.  If you want to experience an authentic luau, then consider calling (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

The guest rooms here are quite spacious and there's nothing quite like taking the monorail for a short ride to the Magic Kingdom.  I think you have picked the perfect resort for your first vacation to Walt Disney World.

Best wishes for a truly magical vacation!  Please don't hesitate to post any additional questions you may have as you pull together your plans for your trip.
