We are planning our first vacation and celebrating my daughter 15 birthday in november and plan to stay one week. I would like to know what our some of the best places to eat and how long in advance should I have to make reservation.

You're daughter is sure to have an unforgettable 15th birthday, Fancisca!  One of the best places to celebrate at birthday at Walt Disney World is the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue.  For guests who dine there on an actual birthday (not just a celebration of the day) they go all out to honor them.  It's a ton of festive fun.  'Ohana would be another great choice for a themed meal, as would the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  If she has an imaginative streak, perhaps dinner in Cinderella Castle would be appropriate.  Cinderella's Royal Table is the most regal of dining experiences.  Teppan Edo at Epcot is another great choice; it offers hibachi style cooking in an authentic Japanese atmosphere.

As for making those reservations, you should do so as soon as possible, up to 180 days out.  The moment you decide which meal is the right one for your celebration, you should call 407-WDW-DINE for reservations.  Good luck!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
