Planning the first trip for my 2 year old Mother's day weekend! 5/12-5/17! Stuck between the French Quarter and Coronado Springs? Also advice/suggestions on other places to stay that would be most beneficial for things that she may enjoy most? Thanks!

    Hi Raney!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

I would recommend Port Orleans French Quarter over Coronado Springs.  Port Orleans French Quarter is a fan favorite and it is the smallest of the Disney Moderate Resorts making it easy to get around, etc.  However, because it is the smallest, it doesn't have a Table Service restaurant and the food court there is rather limited.  If those things are important to you then I would recommend staying at Port Orleans Riverside, French Quarter's sister resort.

If your budget allows, you might consider staying in a Magic Kingdom monorail resort or in an Epcot Deluxe Resort.  Both locations give you easy access to a theme park and thus easy access to your room for an afternoon nap or break.  My favorite Magic Kingdom monorail resort is the Polynesian and my favorite Epcot area resort is the Beach Club.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
