We are planning our first trip, and I wondered if our last park day can also be our check out day? We would like to pack up, check out, play all day, then leave the park/resort.

    Hey, Linda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Wahoo! You are planning your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You will soon see that this is truly the place "where dreams come true." Your Disney vacation is Magic your way. Your last day should be enjoyed any way you want.

If you have a valid theme park ticket on the day you check out then leave your luggage with hotel bag services and head to the theme parks.

Do you want to stay and play the pool? Great, pack up your souvenirs, clothes and other knick knacks and drop them at hotel bag services. Afterward, head to the pool with your pool bag to lounge around until you need to leave.

Basically, you do what you want on your last day. Most times we wake early and leave our bags with hotel bag services and go to the theme parks because we can eat and shop in our own city but we can't get another adventure through the Haunted Mansion, fly over London on Peter Pan's Flight or go Soarin' over the world.

Disney Dad Tip: There are some experiences that must be enjoyed on your first trip. Stop by Magic Kingdom Park City Hall in Town Square for a "1st Visit" button. Cast Members and the Big Cheese, Mickey Mouse, love welcoming new friends. Eat a Dole Whip, Turkey Leg, and Churro. These are classic treats and are cherished by tens of thousands. Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square theater. Ride the Walt Disney World Monorail through Disney's Contemporary Resort. See Wishes nighttime spectacular and walk through Cinderella Castle. There are over 1,000,000 carefully placed glass pieces telling the story of Cinderella. Use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to help you stay organized.

Linda, contact us with more questions and enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
