Planning our first trip to wdw with a 9 and 7 year old. How many days at each park are needed. Which parks for the week of 4/8-4/14 are busier on certain days.....which days should I do which parks? Any MUST see shows or events?

    Hi Pendaley,

I have a website that I love to use to help with WDW trips:  www.touringplans.com.  It offers over 100 itineraries that help to highlight the must-sees as well as the order to visit the attractions.  By following the plans, you save time by reducing your wait in lines.  We've used the plans and have been very happy with the results.  It really makes navigating your ways through the parks much less intimidating, especially for a first visit!

Also, through research of previous years, the website recommends specific days to visit parks and specific days to avoid them.  It truly does all the planning for you.  In addition, if you have a smart phone, you'll be able to load an app onto it that ties into the website.  This app includes current wait times for attractions while you are at the parks as well as all the other features I just mentioned.  Just a note that it does have a small fee, but one that I think is very worthwhile.

If you take a look at it and would rather go a different with planning, please let us know. We are happy to help with any more questions you have.  Have a wonderful trip!
